The Orthodox Club have clinched the Jordan Table Tennis League, after beating Yarmouk Amman 3-0 in the final match of the play offs.
In an exciting final night of action, Al Hussien Irbid picked up third spot after beating Zahhoum, who settled for fourth.
The finale at The Sport Palace Hall in Al Hussein Sport City was attended by Jordan Olympic Committee Secretary General, Nasser Majali, and Mr. Fawaz Al Sharabi, Jordan Table Tennis Federation President.
Meanwhile, nine teams will compete in the Women’s Table Tennis League, which will be launched tomorrow (Thursday) in Al Hussein Sport City, and will continue through to Saturday.
Teams entered include the reigning champions, Orthodox Club, who will be hoping to make it a double. Al Hussein City, Petra, Aqsa Amman, Arina, Bushra, Samar and Abu Nsair make up the rest of the field.
