Since its establishment in 1957, the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has been a caretaker for all 34 Olympic and non-Olympic sports federations in the kingdom that nurture our athletes and provide countless services and endless support.
The JOC believes that empowering National Sports Federations is the key to a driving change in the Jordanian sports community. That is why the JOC works to develop and implement long-term athlete development policies that apply equally to all Sports Federations in the kingdom making sure to elevate the quality standards and outcomes of all changes.
We encourage all our Sports Federations to follow the example of the JOC and benefit from our expertise and continuous support to improve governance, communication and sport structure as well as developing and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships with similar, respective international federation around the world.
Through careful planning and close friendships, we believe the state of sports in Jordan can be elevated to new heights granting everyone from the people, athletes and to the federations a sense of accomplishment that is a corner stone of a better and happier society.
We believe that our national sports federations are partners in the process of change and transforming the Jordanian sports dream into a reality giving hope to the Jordanian people and leading as an example for change, progress and enlightenment.
