JOC LAUNCHES COMMUNITY SPORTS LEADERS COURSE IN SOUTHERN REGION
Oct 22, 2026
The Jordan Olympic Committee has launched its Community Sports Leaders Course in the Southern Region, bringing together 29 participants as part of its efforts to encourage greater involvement in sport across the Kingdom.
The four-day programme aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to promote physical activity, organise community sporting initiatives and encourage more people to embrace an active lifestyle.
The course forms part of the Jordan Olympic Committee's wider efforts to develop community sports leadership and expand opportunities for people of all ages to participate in sporting activities.
The Southern Region programme follows the successful delivery of a similar course in the Northern Region two weeks ago, with the next course scheduled to take place in the Central Region in early November.
Through these initiatives, the Jordan Olympic Committee aims to build a network of community sports leaders capable of inspiring greater participation and strengthening the role of sport in communities throughout Jordan.
