The national Paralympic Table Tennis team has continued its intensive preparations for the 5th Asian Paralympic Games, hosted in Nagoya, Japan from October 18-24.
Jordan is represented by Faten Eleimat and Ibrahim Sabrah, with the former participating in women’s singles within categories 4+5, having previously secured bronze in team competitions during the Asian Paralympic Games held in the South Korean city of Incheon in 2014.
Sabrah competes in the men’s singles within categories (4+5), and considered one of the nation’s top young talents looking to make an impact on the event.
The pair will also team up for the mixed doubles within category (10).
Head coach, Raed Al-Shareef, said the pair will continue to step up their daily training all the way up to the first day of competition in Japan.
