The third Amman International Athletics Championships for clubs has launched today at the Amman International Stadium.
Jordan’s athletes have dominated the early events by winning the Men's and Women's 100m, Men's 3000m and Men's 5000m while Kuwait’s Zakaria Hussein took the Men's 110 Hurdles.
UAE's Fatimah Al Husani took the women’s shot put gold with Jordan's Haneen Shhadeh in second.
Organised by the Jordan Athletics Federation, the event has welcomed over 190 athletes from six countries including Lebanon, Iraq, UAE, Kuwait, Palestine and Jordan.
