WINS FOR JORDAN ON DAY ONE OF TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS

 Jordan has started strongly in the West Asia Table Tennis Championships with wins for the senior men as well as the U18 and U15 male sides on Day One in Aqaba.

The men beat Iraq 3-0 with wins for Ziad Yousef, Ziad Aziz and Mohammad Bani Salameh. The U18 men's team beat Palestine 3-0 thanks to wins from Hassan Al Hourani, Khalid Basem and Omar Al Oufi while the U15 boys also beat Palestine 3-0 with Hamadah Qsoul, Ayesh Awad and Raed Wael in fine form.

The teams' competitions continue Friday with both morning and afternoon sessions at the Rosary School.
