JORDAN IN GROUP A FOR ASIAN 7s COMPETITION

Jordan have been drawn in Group A for the Doha Rugby 7s which take place on March 3-4 as a qualifying round to the elite Asian 7s Series.
Jordan will be joined by Pakistan and Singapore, while Group B includes Philippines, Qatar and Nepal; Group C includes UAE and India, and Group D includes Thailand, Iran and Bangladesh.
The tournament winners will qualify for the elite Asian Rugby 7s series to be held in Hong Kong, South Korea and Sri Lanka in September and October.
This Series is in turn a qualifier for the World Cup to hosted in San Francisco next year.
