Al Jazeera have opened up a four-point gap at the top of the Al Manasser Jordanian Pro League after a thumping 4-1 win over bottom side Baqa’a.
But there are two very familiar names taking up the chase with both reigning champions Wehdat and multiple champions Faisali sitting in second.
Wehdat beat the early season pace setters Al Ahli 2-1 while Faisali beat Shabab Al Ordan 1-0.
In other results, Mansheyt Bani Hassan beat Al Sareeh 1-0, That Rass drew with Sahab 0-0 and Al Hussein Irbid drew with Al Ramtha 0-0.
