MORE ASIAN MEDALS FOR JORDAN KARATE

Following its excellent showing in the cadet section, Jordan has picked up more medals in the U21 category at the 15th Asian Karate Federation Cadet, Juniors & Under 21 Championships in Indonesia.
On the final day of the event, Nabil Al Shwiki won an impressive silver medal in the 67kg weight while team mate Huda Jaber won bronze in the 61kg section.
It takes Jordan’s medal haul to five following Saturday’s successful day when Saleh Sawalha (silver), Ali Ismaeel (bronze) and Yazan Al Weher (bronze) showed their caliber.
Karate has been added to the Tokyo Olympic Games roster in 2020, creating a huge buzz for the sport in Jordan where it has thrived in recent years.
