ISHAISH TO FIGHT FOR GOLD AT ASIAN GAMES

Ziad Ishaish has reached the final of the 70kg weight Boxing category at the 20th Asian Games – Nagoya 2026.

Ishaish beat the Japanese host nation’s Sewonrets Okazawa in a thrilling semi-final and will meet Kazakhstan’s Torekhan Saberkhan in the final on Friday.

Ishaish opened his Asian Games campaign with a victory over Palestine’s Mohammad Issa in the round of 16, and in the quarter-finals, he beat Tajikistan’s Saidov Shamsher.

He is the brother of Hussein Hussein Ishaish who secured a bronze medal in the 80kg weight category on Tuesday.
