Jordan’s Tennis players have ended their participation at the 20th Asian Games following defeats in the men’s singles for both players at the round of 32 stage.
Mohammad Al-Qutob lost to Chinese Taipei’s Yu Hsiou, 2-1, and, in the same round, Zaid Al-Mashni lost in straight sets to Hong Kong’s Wong Coleman, the tournament’s top seed.
Al-Mashni had opened his campaign with a straight sets victory over Pakistan’s Murtaza Muzammil within the round of 64.
Today’s competitions took place indoors due to the outdoor courts being waterlooged with rain.
