ABU JAJEH BEATEN AT ASIAN GAMES BOXING

Boxer Mohammad Abu Jajeh has been knocked out of the Boxing competitions at the Asian Games held following his round of 16 defeat in Nagoya, Japan.

Abu Jajeh lost his -60kg bout to India’s Sachin, a disappointing conclusion after starting brightly with a convincing win over Bhutan’s Kinley.

On Saturday Huzaifa Ishaish meets Chinese Taipei boxer, Peng Chia-feng, in the round of 16 for the -55kg weight category.

Mais Al-Reem Abu Khadijah also contests her round of 16 bout in the -60kg weight category, facing The Philippines’ Nesthy Petecio.
