In sailing, the national junior team concluded its participation in the Arab Championship for Optimist boats, held in the Saudi city of Jeddah with the participation of 13 countries.
The team—composed of Miral Abu Anzeh and Zain Al-Shweikini—was crowned best girls' team in the tournament.
Their participation marked the first time the pair have competed at this level showing that they have huge potential for the future.
This participation comes within the Royal Jordan Water Sports Federation's efforts to develop sailing and build a strong foundation for national teams by providing external exposure and opportunities to compete in regional and international championships.
