MUSLEH SET TO MAKE HER MARK ON ASIAN GAMES TRIATHLON
Sep 18, 2026
Lydia Musleh has arrived in the Japanese city of Nagoya in preparation to compete in the Triathlon at the 20th Asian Games.
The Triathlon takes place on Sunday with Lydia representing Jordan in the sprint race, consisting of a 750m ocean swim, 20km cycle, and a 5km run.
Coach, Abdelaziz Al-Shaibi, confirmed that the competition will not be easy, as the Asian continent includes many national teams that dominate the world championships, such as China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, among other countries.
Musleh hopes to finish as high as possible to accumulate points for the Los Angeles Olympics, explaining that her preparations for the Asian Games began about three months ago through training in conditions mimicking the high humidity of Nagoya City.
