Jordan’s Basketballers face a tough challenge against South Korea on Wednesday in the quarter-finals of the 20th Asian Games in the Japanese city of Nagoya.
The match will take place at 4am Amman time (10am local) at the Aichi Arena.
The team conducted their training on Tuesday in preparations at the Wing Arena Kariya and know they will need to improve after edging through to the last eight as one of the best two third placed finishers from the group stage, with just one win from three matches.
In contrast, South Korea qualified for the quarter-finals atop Group A with maximum points following three victories against Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Japan.
The winner will advance to the semi-finals to face the winner of the Iran and Bahrain match.
The remaining quarter-final matchups feature Chinese Taipei against Japan, and China against Saudi Arabia.
