OLYMPIC BOXER ELECTED CHAIR OF ASIAN ATHLETES’ COMMISSION

Former Olympian and Jordan Olympic Committee Board Member, Odai Al-Hindawi has been elected Chair of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ABC) Athletes’ Commission.
The position is considered one of the key roles within the Asian Confederation, and means he will also join the ABC as Board Member.
The Athletes’ Commission represents the voice of boxers on the continent, sharing their views and needs to the Board of Directors, as well as participating in decisions making and creating initiatives related to athletes and the future of the sport across the continent.
Al-Hindawi boasts a distinguished career in boxing, having represented Jordan for years, qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games as well as winning silver at the Incheon 2014 Asian Games.
