JOC SUPPORTS CHILDREN’S MUSEUM’S SPORTS WEEK

The Jordan Olympic Committee is supporting the Children’s Museum’s Sports Week at Al-Hussein Park, Amman.
The JOC has implemented its ‘Promising Falcons’ basketball initiative which utilises the sport to teach children Olympic Values and the benefit of sport, and is a part of its
National Grassroots Centres Programme.
The Museum’s five-day programme has welcomed about 75 children, and features four diverse daily activities aimed at encouraging children to engage in sports and develop their skills through interactive sessions.
The Promising Falcons project trains children in basic basketball skills, and mixing both learning and practical application.
The JOC works hard to spread sports culture and Olympic Values across the Kingdom through strong community partnerships that contribute to promoting the importance of sport and healthy living in our everyday lives.
