Jul 22, 2026
The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has continued its ‘For a Safe Heart’ course at Al Hussein Technical University as part of the agreement signed to train the university’s staff and students on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid skills.
Organised by the JOC’s Life Support Training Centre university students joined officials in receiving theoretical and practical training on CPR, the use of defibrillators (AED), alongside handling choking cases and medical emergencies.
The course focuses on equipping participants with the essential knowledge and skills to handle emergency situations, enabling them to provide first aid and rapid response to life-threatening cases until specialised medical staff arrive.
The course continues tomorrow, Thursday, and will conclude next week with two additional days, benefiting a total of 80 male and female students and implemented under the cooperation agreement between the JOC and Al Hussein Technical University.
