NATIONAL TAEKWONDO CADETS CHAMPIONSHIP CONCLUDES

Following a hugely competitive three days of competition, the National Taekwondo Championship for Cadets has concluded.
Organised by the Jordan Taekwondo Federation at the Prince Rashid Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City, the tournament featured 413 fighters representing 79 centres from across the Kingdom.
The championship attracted one of the largest fields of any Taekwondo competition in recent years, witnessing outstanding technical levels and fierce competition among participants, featuring for the first time on the federation’s official calendar.
The winners from each weight category qualified for the Al-Hassan International Championship, scheduled for next month, in a step to provide athletes with the opportunity for high-level competition to gain further experience in preparation for upcoming events.
It also witnessed the first implementation of the new amendments to the sport’s rules and refereeing systems, as part of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation's preparations to apply them in upcoming tournaments and in alignment with the latest internationally approved regulations.
