HIS MAJESTY LAUDS AL-NASHAMA FOLLOWING WORLD CUP CAMPAIGN

His Majesty King Abdullah II has shared his pride for the national football team following its historic first appearance at the FIFA World Cup in the USA.
The Nashama left the tournament following three narrow defeats to Argentina, Austria and Algeria, but the way that the team, and its fans, conducted themselves has brought worldwide praise for Jordan as a whole.
And His Majesty took to X to share his pride having attended matches in San Francisco and Dallas.
His Majesty posted: “You represented a gracious face of Jordan and laid the foundation for future successes that we look forward to.
“The nation awaits you and takes pride in you, for you are in the hearts of all Jordanians. And to the loyal Jordanian fans, you reflected the most beautiful images of our country, embodying true belonging.
“Jordan is stronger through its unity, more beautiful through its people, and greater through the love that brings its sons and daughters together.”
