ZEYAD AND HUZAIFA ISHAISH QUALIFY FOR BOXING WORLD CUP SEMI-FINALS AND SECURE BRONZE

Jordanian national boxing team players, Zeyad Ishaish and Huzaifa Ishaish, qualified today, Friday, for the semi-finals of the 2026 Boxing World Cup, currently held in the Chinese city of Guiyang.

Zeyad Ishaish's qualification came after defeating his English opponent, Patrick Hewitt, in the 70 kg weight category, while Huzaifa Ishaish reached the semi-finals after overcoming his Mongolian opponent, Battulga, in the 50 kg weight category.

On his part, Hussein Ishaish bowed out of the 80 kg weight category competitions following a loss in the quarter-finals against Uzbekistan's Javokhixir.
