Jun 02, 2026
The Jordan Olympic Committee conducted a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training course today (Tuesday).
The course was organised by the JOC’s Life Support Training Centre at the Olympic Preparation Centre, as part of its training programmes aimed at developing medical and first-aid skills while enhancing readiness within the sports sector.
The course witnessed the participation of several individuals involved and working in the sports field.
It focused on providing participants with the essential knowledge and skills to handle emergency situations, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, rapid response mechanisms, and primary life-saving procedures in accordance with approved medical standards.
The course included both theoretical and practical components, through which participants were able to apply skills related to assessing emergency cases and handling them correctly.
This contributes to raising the level of preparedness and enhancing the speed of intervention in situations that require immediate response.
