AL-RAWASHDEH CLINCHES BRONZE AT ASIAN TAEKWONDO

Razan Al-Rawashdeh has won bronze for Jordan at the Asian Senior Taekwondo Championships in Mongolia.

Al-Rawashdeh successfully secured the medal in the -67kg weight category after winning two consecutive bouts.

She commenced her campaign with a 2-0 victory over her Kazakhstani opponent, and then defeated a Mongolian fighter with the same score, before losing in the semi-final round to a South Korean player.

But it meant she settled for bronze, Jordan’s second medal in the championship after Jaafar Al-Dawood clinched his gold medal last Thursday in the -54 kg weight.
