JORDAN UNVEILS STUNNING WORLD COP KIT
May 18, 2026
The Jordan Football Association has launched the official kit of the Al-Nashama national team for the 2026 World Cup, marking the Kingdom’s first-ever appearance in the finals.
The new national team jersey comes in three colours and tells a story of an authentic identity deeply rooted in history, utilising a visual theme inspired by prominent symbols of Jordanian culture to elevate the presence of national identity on the global football stage.
The home and away jerseys celebrate the symbolism of the Jordanian Shemagh with its red and white pattern, serving as one of the most prominent emblems of national identity interwoven into the daily lives of Jordanians.
Over time, it has evolved into a symbol of pride, honour, and the steadfast determination that defines the Nashama.
Meanwhile, the third jersey draws its inspiration from the Black Iris, the national flower of Jordan. Shades of purple and black intertwine in a visual composition that reflects the solidarity of Jordanians and their deep connection to nature and their living national heritage.
This creative dimension extends to the numbers and letters on the jersey, which are inspired by the cultural legacy of the Nabataeans and their contributions to the development of script and culture.
It also embodies their spirit of challenge, courage, and the building of Petra as an enduring civilization carved into Jordan's rocks - paralleling the resilience and resolve of the national team players in their historic 2026 World Cup journey.
Blending heritage with modernity, the Nabataean steps carved into Jordan's mountains and rocks are integrated to symbolise growth, ambition, and the journey toward the summit.
This is combined with modern digital visual techniques inspired by pixels and cubes, reflecting the intersection of authenticity and technology, yesterday and tomorrow, and mirroring the aspirations of the younger generations who view the Nashama team as an inspiration.
The Nashama jersey was designed by Jordanian talent, with designer Dania Al-Lozi and typographic designer Hussein Al-Azaat contributing to embedding the Jordanian identity into the design details.
They transformed national and traditional heritage symbols into a contemporary visual language that reflects a deep sense of belonging and athletic defiance, highlighting the features of Jordanian identity in a modern, creative style.
The new shirt is available in several categories. The fans’ edition is priced at 27JOD, the players’ match edition is 60 JOD, while the special black edition is offered at 40 JOD.
Fans will be able to purchase the shirt online and it will also be available in a week’s time from authorised retail points, with worldwide purchasing and shipping options available.
