CAREER WORKSHOP FOR ATHLETES

As part of its key strategic pillar of athlete well-being, the Jordan Olympic Committee has held a joint workshop about careers outside of sport.
Held in cooperation with The Vocational Training Corporation, the workshop welcomed a number of athletes to the Olympic Preparation Centre where covered several key topics were covered.
It highlighted professional entrepreneurship and its role in creating job opportunities for youth, in addition to highlighting the key training programmes offered by the Corporation and providing an overview of helping young people choose suitable career paths.
This workshop comes as part of a series of activities to be implemented under the memorandum of understanding signed between the Jordan Olympic Committee and the Vocational Training Corporation last March, with the aim of delivering programmes and initiatives that support athletes alongside their sporting ambitions.
