JORDAN’S MIXED START AT ASIAN BEACH GAMES

Jordan have got off to a mixed start at the Asian Beach Games after the Beach Handball team won one game and lost another in Sanya, China.
The team beat The Maldives, 2-0, in their second match in Group B with set scores of 14-6 and 16-13.
But the team opened its campaign earlier on Tuesday with a 2-0 loss to Thailand and will next face Pakistan in its third match on Thursday at 11am (Jordan time).
Meanwhile, Dr. Taisir Al-Mansi, President of the Jordan Handball Federation, is participating in the Games as part of the technical committee, alongside Dr. Moatasem Khattabeh, who is serving as a technical delegate.
