JIU-JITSU READY FOR ASIAN BEACH GAMES

Jordan’s Jiu-Jitsu team continues its intensive preparations ahead of participating in the 6th Asian Beach Games, set for Sanya, China, from April 22.
Representing Jordan are Mohammad Omet, Mahmoud Jabr, Alaa Al-Din Al-Khazai, Zeina Al-Shaddad, Simaza Khat, Sina Nbass, and Maya Ishaqat, alongside coaches Yazan Janb and Lama Al-Qabaj.
Women’s coach Al-Qabaj confirmed that preparations are progressing well, highlighting the players’ commitment to the training programme.
She noted that the technical staff is focused on enhancing both physical and technical readiness ahead of the Jiu-Jitsu competitions, which will begin on April 24.
Meanwhile, men’s coach, Janb, stated that team morale is high, with strong ambitions to achieve top results and compete for podium finishes.
Jordan’s Jiu-Jitsu team have delivered an outstanding performance in the last edition of the Games, held in Da Nang, Vietnam in 2016, where Jordan topped the medal standings with a total of 12 medals: 4 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze.
