WINTER SWIMMING CHAMPS MAKING A SPLASH

The Second Schools Winter Swimming Championship got underway on Thursday evening at the Al Hussein Youth City Club Pool, organised by the Jordan Swimming Federation.
The three-day event features the participation of 159 swimmers competing across age categories ranging from 11 to 15 years. All results will be officially recognised - whether national records, age-group records, or individual event results - provided they are achieved using electronic timing.
The championship will also witness the issuance of the first official schools records list for competitions held in a 25m pool.
