JORDAN NAME HANDBALL TEAM FOR ASIAN YOUTH GAMES

Jordan have named a strong team to compete for medals at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, which will be hosted by Bahrain from October 22-31.
The squad includes Hamza Abu Diak, Omar Al-Khalayleh, Mohammad Al-Obeid, Karim Ismail, Sufyan Abu Sharkh, Tamim Al-Rawashdeh, Qusai Al-Rawashdeh, Mohammad Al-Zawahreh, Tamer Al-Zawahreh, Ziad Obeidat, Zaid Al-Sharafat, Mohammad Freihat, Ahmad Mo’tasem, Mohammad Sbeihi, Abdulrahman Herzallah, and Suhaib Shibli.
They will be coached by Mohannad Al-Mansi and Ayman Bin Al-Mukhtar.
Head coach Al-Mansi said that the team includes a strong group of players who gained valuable experience from their participation in the Asian Championship last year.
He said: “We are looking forward to continuing our development through this tournament, as it brings together the best handball teams in Asia so the level of competition will undoubtedly be very high.”
Jordan has been placed in Group A alongside Bahrain and Thailand, with the 14 participating teams divided into four groups.
Group B includes Kuwait, China, and India, while Group C features Iran, the UAE, Kazakhstan and Hong Kong, and Group D consists of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Uzbekistan, and The Maldives.
The Handball competitions at the Asian Youth Games (Bahrain 2025) will take place from October 19-30.
