Rugby players set for Arab showdown

Jordan will participate in the 9th Arab Men’s Rugby Championship and the 4th Women's Championship, hosted by King Fahd Sports City in Taif, Saudi Arabia, on Friday and Saturday.
The women’s national team is in Group 1 alongside Tunisia, Syria, and Saudi Arabia. Group 2 consists of teams from the UAE, Egypt, Libya, and Lebanon.
The men are in Group 1 with UAE, Egypt, Palestine, and Iraq. Group 2 includes teams from Tunisia, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Morocco.
The men previously won the Arab Championship, when hosted in Amman, in 2019, after beating Egypt in the final.
