SHOT PUTTER FINISHES 12TH IN CHINA

Shot putter Mosab Al-Momani has finished 12th at the 19th Asian Games taking place in Hangzhou, China, until October 8.
His throw of 15.67 metres wasn’t enough to trouble the medal spots, with India’s Tajinderpal Singh landing gold, Saudi Arabia's Mohammed Tahlak taking silver and China’s Yang Lai settling for bronze.
Al-Momani will also compete in the discus at the Asian Games tomorrow.
