TWO-TIME OLYMPIC BOXER LOSES ASIAN GAMES QUARTER-FINAL

Hussein Ishaish has missed out on the semi-finals of the Boxing at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
The two-time Olympian lost to Uzbekistan’s Turabek Khabybolayev in the -80kg weight, despite looking in brilliant form when he stopped Indonesia’s Michael Mosquera in the previous fight’s second round.
His defeat ends Jordan’s boxing participation at the Games empty handed, but provided the eight fighters with much needed international competition as they continue to bid for Olympic qualification.
