10 TAEKWONDO MEDALS FOR HOSTS JORDAN

Jordan have won an incredible 10 medals at the G1 El-Hassan Taekwondo Championship being hosted in Amman, Jordan.
Six gold medals were won by Saleh Al-Sharabati, Zaid Al-Halawani, Zaid Mustafa, Anas Al-Sadeq, Fahd Ammar and Juliana Al-Sadiq, while Mahmoud Al-Taraira and Yara Yassin won two silver medals, and two further bronze medals were won by Rama Abu Al-Rub and Yazan Youssef.
The championship welcomed over 700 fighters from 17 countries, and featured a number of age categories.
The tournament is followed by the start of Refugee competitions, which are supervised by the Humanitarian Taekwondo Organisation and will welcome the participation of refugee camps from across Jordan and overseas.
