MEDICAL TEAM CHOSEN FOR OLYMPIC GAMES

Three Jordanian medical professionals will supporting the organisers at the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games which start on July 23.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Khatatbeh and Dr. Laith Al-Khairi will be among the medical team working for the organisers, while Mrs. Kifah Taha will be a part of the drug testing operation.
The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) nominated the medical staff, providing local professionals with the opportunity to work at such a high profile international event.
JOC Secretary General, Nasser Majali, said the partnership would provide a boost to the growing reputation of the Jordanian medical sector.
"We are very happy to see that our Jordanian medical professionals will be supporting the medical operation at the Tokyo Olympics,” Majali said.
“These are unprecedented times due to the challenges posed by Covid-19 so we are proud to be supporting our friends in Tokyo as they strive to provide a safe environment for everyone who is taking part.”
