The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has held a high level e-meeting to identify and address the issues faced by the sport of Kickboxing due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
The JOC is hosting a number of e-meetings across the sporting sector to identify a roadmap for the gradual re-introduction of sport, and joining JOC Secretary General, Nasser Majali, in logging in was Dr. Basel Al Shaer, Vice President of World Kickboxing Association and President of both Arab and Jordan Kickboxing Federation.
Representatives of clubs and centres were able to air their concerns and suggestions with Majali who assured them that the JOC recognises the economic impact on the sector, particularly the sports clubs and centres, and is working on finding a solution to decrease this impact through open communication channels with the government.
