GETTING TO GRIPS WITH KAZAKHSTAN EVENT

The national Ju-Jitsu team has arrived in Kazakhstan where they will compete in the Grand Prix event in Nur-Sultan from June 19-23.
The team is led by: Zaid Abu Al-Saud, chef de mission; Mohamed Samer Khair, assistant coach; Lana Al-Khader, therapist; and players Anas Shamout (-56kg), Fraih Al-Harahsha (-62kg) , Abdul Karim Al Rasheed (-69 kg), Hamzah Othman (-77 kg), Haidar Al Rasheed (-85 kg), Zaid Jarandouqa (-94 kg) and Yasmin Al Khatib (-45 kg).
The team hopes to achieve outstanding results to further boost Jordan’s global reputation as a leading nation for the sport. It also provides timely preparation for the Asian Championships taking place from July 14-22, and the World Championships being held in the UAE from November 15-24.
