SIMREEN INTO WORLD QUARTER-FINAL

Young boxer Bader Simreen has qualified to the quarter-final of World Youth Boxing Championships being held in Budapest, Hungary.

Simreen moved into the last eight after beating Azerbaijan’s Sabuhi Abishove and he will meet Bulgaria’s Ivan Atansove next.

His teammates, Mhammad Younis and Mohammad Al Zagharir, have both missed out from the first round of the event.
