FINAL PLACES FOR JORDAN SWIMMERS

Khader Baqleh and Amro Al Wer have both highlighted Jordan’s improvements on the Asian swimming scene by competing in their finals at the Asian Games in Jakarta.

Baqleh reached the final of the 400m Freestyle where he finished seventh in a time of 3:45.27, while Al Wer was eighth in the final of the 200m breaststroke in a time of 2:17.43, after coming through his heat.

It is the first time that Jordanians have qualified to the finals of the Asian Games swimming.
