The Qusai Initiative, which was created to improve the wellbeing and safty of Jordan’s sports community, has completed its latest round of training therapists to be better prepared to react to emergencies and other injuries.
The initiative, launched by the Crown Prince Foundation and run under the umbrella of the Jordan Olympic Committee, has qualified 35 sports therapists from universities across the Kingdom.
It was set up following the tragic on-field death of a young Jordanian footballer three years ago, and it is fast making a difference to the medical expertise and facilities now available.
