POWERLIFTERS TAKE ANOTHER GOLD

Jordan have won a third gold medal at the 9th Faza Powerlifting Championships being held in the UAE.

Abdulkareem Khattab struck gold in the 80kg category after lifting an unbelievable 203kg, retaining the title he also won last year. Khattab’s success followed gold winning performances at the championship from teammates Omar Qaradeh (49kg) and Mohammad Tarbash (59kg).

Still to compete for Jordan are Mohammad Arrar (97kg) and Jameel Al Shebli (107kg).
