Jordan will be looking to forge a strong national team in Muay Thai following this weekend’s National Championships in Rashed Al Zyoud Hall in Al Hussein Youth City. Over 100 fighters will compete in the three categories of Men, Women and Juniors, and Enad Talafha, the Championship Manager, told www.joc.jo that players from centres and clubs will have a chance to represent the national team in 2018 events should they impress this weekend. “It’s a very important event for all players, and we wish them all the best,” he said. Jordan won silver at the Asian Indoor and Martial Games last year through Mohammad Al Barri.
