JORDAN READY TO HOST U18 BASKETBALL CUP

The final touches are being made to Jordan hosting the 17th West Asian U18 Basketball Championship that will run until February 15.

The host nation will welcome Syria, Iraq, Iran and Lebanon with the top three assured a place at the Asian Cup in Thailand alongside Iran who are already qualified after winning the last edition in 2016.

Jordan will launch their campaign on Monday against Lebanon in Prince Hamzeh Hall, while Syria and Iraq will meet in the opener on Sunday.
