An initiative that aims to better prepare sports physios to look after Jordan’s athletes has successfully held a course.
The Qusai Initiative, supported by the Jordan Olympic Committee, has held its third Sport Physiotherapy course over the last six days which saw 42 physiotherapists graduate with new skills to provide more support for Jordan’s sports men and women.
A delegation from the World Physiotherapy Federation from both Madrid University and Toronto University supervised the sessions.
“The course was extremely successful and those who graduated are now better prepared to deal with injuries on the sports field,” said Zaid Habashneh, the Qusai Initiative Project Manager.
