QARADA WINS SILVER AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan powerlifter Omar Qaradah has won a silver medal at the World Powerlifting Championships taking place in Mexico until December 8.
The two-times Paralympic silver medallist finished second in the 49kg category after he lifted 178 kg.
Vietnam's Lee Kung set a new record by lifting 183.5kg, while Nigeria's Edison Yaccubo finished third after lifting 174kg.
Still to come for Jordan at the event is Abdulkareem Khattab who will compete in the 80kg category.
