SHERGO WINS ARAB GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

Rising golf star Shergo Kurdi has won the U18 Arab Golf Championships in Tunisia, despite still only being 14 years old.

The Jordanian youngster finished 10 over for the three rounds, winning by three shots from local player Mahdi Bin Halemeh. It’s the latest in the long list of tournament wins for Shergo who also won the Arab Boys title last year.

The event welcomed players from 10 countries including UAE, Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, Qatar, Oman, Somalia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
