MORE MEDALS AND MORE SEATS FOR RIO 2016

Jordan powerlifters have won more medals in the Asian Championships, and pending confirmation from the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), have secured seats for the Rio 2016 Paralympics.
Mohammad Toroubsh, 59kg, lifted 179kg to take bronze, while Abdel Kareem Khattab won two bronze medals, one for his category and then one in the Open category after lifting 205kg.
Dawoud Shehadeh, Jordan Paralympics Committee Manager, said that both athletes have achieved the qualifying records and are now awaiting for the official letter from the IPC.
Asma' Al Issa is still yet to lift and is the final Jordan athlete to compete.
