WUSHU SET FOR ISLAMIC GAMES

JORDAN's Wushu team is training intensively to participate in the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games to be held in Azerbaijan, Baku from May 12-22.
The team will be lead by coach Wa’el Yahia gave the www.joc.jo an insight into the intensive training to prepare the team.
“The athletes are looking for medals at the games," said Yahia.
“We have set a plan to be successful in Baku, and that has included the athletes training harder than they have before because we want to accomplish our plan.”
Coach Yahia assured that his athletes are reaching prime condition in training which has mixed physical fitness with fine tuning technique.
Jordan will send four athletes to Baku including Ali Al Qaisi (70 kg), Yazeed Hasaneen (65kg), Hamzeh Yahia (56kg) and Ammar Al Shami (48kg).
