SECOND WORLD POWERLIFTING GOLD FOR JORDAN

 Mohammad Tarbash has clinched gold in the 2017 Powerlifting World Cup taking place in Dubai.

Tarbash won the 54kg category, adding to the gold medal won by teammate Omar Qaradeh in the 49kg category on the opening day on Monday.

Jordan has sent three female and seven male powerlifters to the championship.
