WOMEN BEAT ALGERIA

 Jordan have beaten Algeria 2-1 in a women's international friendly in Amman tonight.

The visitors took the lead in the 20th minute before goals in the 77th and the 85th minutes from Stephanie Al Naber and Shahenaz Jebreen gave Jordan victory.

The teams will meet again in the Petra stadium on Sunday. The matches are helping the team prepare for the Asian Cup qualifiers taking place in Tajikistan from April 3-12.

Jordan have been drawn in Group A with The Philippines, Bahrain, UAE, Iraq and Tajikistan. Jordan are hosting the event in 2018.
