HRH PRINCE ALI, ABU GHAUSH RECEIVE SHEIKH MOHAMMED AWARDS

It was a big night for Jordan at the HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Awards 2016 in Dubai with both HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein and Ahmad Abu Ghaush both receiving prestigious awards.
HRH Prince Ali was named the Arab Personality of the Year in recognition of his tireless work in promoting transparency and fairness in FIFA and leading Jordan's organisation of the recent U17 Women's World Cup in Jordan recently.
Taekwondo star Abu Ghaush won Arab Athlete of the Year after he took gold at this summer's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in -68kg weight. The medal was Jordan's first ever at an Olympic Games.
